Event Interpreting Overview
Do you need a strong and knowledgable interpreter for a special event? From graduation ceremonies, to weddings, to aquarium tours, to religious settings, I’ve covered a wide variety of settings. It takes a special presence to make an event, special. That delicate balance between professional and personal is forefront in my work.
I take each event into careful consideration. I arrive early, get acquainted with my audience, and help decide the perfect location on stage. Having the scripts or speeches beforehand helps me prepare so that I can clearly articulate the messages being presented. In some cases, I even do prior preparation to ensure to there is appropriate lighting for my job. If you’ve never hired an interpreter before, I can walk you through the process. For jobs requiring two interpreters or more, I can put together my own team.
No matter how formal or informal your event is, I would be humbled to provide full access to your deaf consumers. I look forward to discussing the details with you!
